Some people......

My sister had a bad experience on blogger today. She was following this trixie something or another girl because she generally liked what this person had to say. Yes, this is usually why one follows another on blogger. :) Apparently, someone within the area in which we live posted a rather curt response to said individuals post, which pertained to college and it's various tolls on the college student psyche and pocket. This blogger thought of herself as some sort of super investigative journalist and attempted to find who had anonymously posted a response to her post. And so somehow her idiot investigation brought her back to my sister, Amanda. Who is, of course, innocent of this insane internet crime and has never done anything like that in her whole blogger history. This person should have done her research. Anyway this post in question went something like this:

"I don't know what sorority you were in but in college I had money and went out all the time....I owned clothes from boutiques....yada yada yada.... and I had REAL dates...blah blah blah.....I had a bmw/expensive sports car....so on and so forth....."

Okay, so maybe that wasn't very accurate. I agree that this post was in poor taste and this person was extremely rude to have posted something so trite but I know this was not my sister. I have half the mind to speak to this blogger directly but lucky for her I'm going to leave this one alone but if she ever puts my sisters information on her page again, we are going to have some real words. Hopefully, she is warned.

By the way writers of blogger, writing a blog can be for anyone. A housewife, a college student, an aspiring teen, ......anyone. Some people generally want to express what makes them happy. And if that means that I want to write about nail polish or my favorite type of facial cleanser, I will. I am sorry if my ideas and self expression makes your work any less creditable than it already is.

P.S. That was sarcasm. I'm not sorry.

Josey's 20th Birthday

The theme is Masquerade. It's gonna be quite a lot of fun. We'll be draping curtains of creams and pale gold all over. Everyone will be hidden behind masks creating an element of secrecy, mystery, and perhaps a little mischief as well, to the night. Provided that everyone's a good sport and keeps their masks on throughout the night, we'll all have an excellent time.
