Quote of the Day

Quote by Mary H. Waldrip

This quote made me smile. :)

Work Study

I must've left a lasting impression on the financial aide officer at school because she called me with an opportunity for a work study position as a receptionist. I'm so excited about it. I'm mainly excited because I am very good with people and I know that I'll do well in the position. :)

My Idols

I absolutely love Emanuela De Paula . . Have I mentioned this before. She is gorgeous and her career is only growing. But I recently discovered Gracie Carvalho and she is very pretty, too. So here's to two beautiful black women!!

Quote of the Day

"We should manage our fortunes as we do our health - enjoy it when good, be patient when bad, and never apply violent remedies except in an extreme necessity." Francois de La Rochefoucauld

For many of us; the economy has become something that confronts us on a regular basis. It has become a constant reminder forcing us to despair and be frightful. In times like these the best thing we can do is work harder and help to create a change. Most of all be patient. That change is right around the corner. Our moment of happiness is on its way. If you do something drastic, you might be pushing your little piece of happiness further away from you.

I'm listening to . . . .

True Blood

I never was that crazy about this show. I loved the Twilight books. At first, I thought that this modern vampire depiction would be pretty cool. Now, I really like it. I used to think it was just sex and blood but after watching more of the episodes; it's actually pretty interesting. The only part of the TV show that really annoys me is Rogue or whatever her name is. She is so irritating. Vampire Bill's character doesn't really interest me either. I really don't know what I like about the show but it's definitely not Sookie. Watch True Blood on HBO. :) While I perused the site I found that they are marketing a beverage line called True Blood. Interesting. Blood Orange Flavor; Sounds nasty. Real Blood is for Suckers. Apparently.
