Due to the fact that I have not posted in quite some time, I would like to bring a new segment to my struggling blog. The Poem of the Day will bring laughter, thought, purpose and inspiration to your day. Today's piece is of Emily Dickinson:

You Cannot Put a Fire Out by Emily Dickinson

You cannot put a Fire out
A Thing that can ignite
Can go, itself, without a Fan
Upon the slowest Night

You cannot fold a Flood
And put it in a Drawer
Because the Winds would find it out
And tell your Cedar Floor

FreakNik the musical

Freaknik is back and a slew of rappers and hip-hop artists, and comedians will become cartoons just for the occasion. Freaknik: The Musical, on Adult Swim, March 7th. The cast will include Andy Samberg, Snoop Dogg,Charles Q. Murphy (as Charlie Murphy), Kel Mitchell, Lil' Wayne, Affion Crockett as Affion Crocket),Faheem Najm(as T-Pain), Big Boi, DJ Pooh,George Clinton, Lil' Jon, Kelis, Georgette Perna, Rick Ross, Cee-Lo, Bootsy Collins, DJ Drama, Mack Maine, Sophia Fresh, William Payne(as William 'Clip' Payne), and Young Cash. It's gonna be so good. I'm am ridiculous. It's tomorrow, so make sure you DVR it in advance just in case you miss it. :)
